Chichen Itza!!!

We had an amazing trip to Chichen Itza. I have so many pictures I will have to make a part 2 ;) But here is a first taste. It's crazy to think that they used to cut peoples head off take their blood and throw them down the stairs back in the day. There's also an old school basketball type sports arena where they played all day for honor with a rubber ball they threw through a round stone ring, keeping score one and one point and only the last point when the sun hit the end of the arena counted as the winning goal. Then the captain of the winning team was sacrificed because he was the strongest. Such a beautiful place, but with crazy stories... I probably would have been the first one to be sacrificed lol ;)
